An HSRP is a tamper-resistant number plate with a chromium hologram, a unique laser-etched number and, on the rear plate, a snap lock that cannot be reused. It has been mandatory on new vehicles made from 1 April 2019; the carmaker supplies the plates and the dealer fits them.
