A regular sunroof is a panel over the front seats that tilts or slides open. A panoramic sunroof is a much larger glass roof over both rows, with the front section usually opening. The panoramic roof brightens the cabin but lets in more heat, adds weight high up and needs a good sunshade in Indian summers.
