Water wading depth

Wading depth is the deepest standing water a carmaker says the vehicle can drive through slowly without damage, for example 650 mm for the Thar ROXX. Most carmakers do not publish a figure for ordinary cars, and driving through deep flood water can wreck an engine.

Flood damage to the engine is usually covered only with an engine-protection add-on.
