The Octavia RS is back for a second batch. The price took an extra lap.

50 cars at ₹56.69 lakh ex-showroom, ₹6.70 lakh more than last year's 100. Same 265 PS, same 6.4 seconds to 100 km/h.

  • Skoda India priced a second batch of 50 Octavia RS on 4 September 2026 at ₹56.69 lakh ex-showroom.
  • That is ₹6.70 lakh more than the first 100 cars in October 2025, and Skoda lists no change to the car.
  • At ₹56.69 lakh it costs more than the most expensive Audi A4, the ₹55.83 lakh Technology.
  • It has a 600-litre boot, 10 airbags, matrix LED headlights and adaptive cruise control.

Skoda has brought the Octavia RS back for the people who missed the first batch. It costs ₹6.70 lakh more, and Skoda has not said why.

Skoda Auto India priced a second batch of the Octavia RS on 4 September 2026: 50 cars at ₹56.69 lakh ex-showroom, with deliveries due to start the following week. Bookings opened on 18 August, and buyers who had reserved one last year without getting a car had first claim.

Skoda lists no change from the 100 cars sold in October 2025. It is the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol with 265 PS and 370 Nm, a 7-speed DSG driving the front wheels, 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and a top speed limited to 250 km/h. The equipment list is long: matrix LED headlights, a head-up display, 10 airbags, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, a 360-degree camera, heated and massaging front seats and an 11-speaker Canton sound system.

The price is what moved. The first batch was ₹49.99 lakh, so this one is 13.4% more, and both were priced under the same GST rates. At ₹56.69 lakh a front-wheel-drive Skoda now costs more than the most expensive Audi A4, the ₹55.83 lakh Technology.

What ₹56.69 lakh buys that the Audi does not is room. The Octavia's liftback opens onto a 600-litre boot, and folding the rear seats takes it to 1,555 litres. Skoda sold the Kodiaq RS the same way this year: 50 cars, fully imported, in one fully loaded version.
