Claimed mileage and range come from a lab test on a fixed driving cycle (MIDC) so that every car is measured the same way. Real-world figures are usually lower because of traffic, higher speeds, AC use, load and driving style, and for EVs heat, cold and battery age. Use claimed figures to compare cars, not to predict your own fuel or charging costs.
