A flex-fuel vehicle has an engine and fuel system built to run on petrol or on blends with much more ethanol, such as E85, in any mix. In India the first one, Maruti's WagonR Flex Fuel, is for fleet and commercial buyers only, so private buyers cannot buy one yet.
