Global NCAP is an independent UK-based charity that crash-tested Indian-made cars under its Safer Cars for India campaign, starting before Bharat NCAP existed. Its crash speeds are similar but its scoring protocol differs, and ratings given under its older protocol, before July 2022, are not comparable with later ones.
