V2L lets an electric car power household appliances from its battery, through a socket in the cabin or an adaptor in the charging port: a kettle, a laptop, lights at a campsite. Hyundai quotes up to 3.6 kW on the Ioniq 5, and some cars can even charge another electric car slowly.
