ADAS stands for advanced driver assistance systems: features that use a camera, radar or both to warn you about a hazard or briefly brake or steer for you. Common ones are automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and blind spot warning. They help the driver; none of them drives the car.
Check which ADAS features a car actually has, because one car's 'ADAS' can be a single warning and another's a full suite.
