The standard warranty is the carmaker's free promise to repair manufacturing defects for a set time or distance, whichever ends first, for example 3 years or 1,00,000 km on Maruti cars since July 2024. Wear-and-tear parts such as tyres, brake pads and bulbs are usually excluded.
